We are on the lookout for the right person to step in and take full leadership of our Salesforce.com non profit consulting practice.

npoOrbit, a crmOrbit division, is a consulting practice dedicated to serving non profit organizations adopting Salesforce.com technology. We are a Salesforce.com Foundation* implementation partner focused and committed to one mission: helping non profits maximize the value and impact of the user licenses donation from Salesforce.com Foundation.

Over the past three years we have successfully implemented Salesforce for non profits and are continuing to increase our reach in the non profit community. Currently there are over 4600 non profits world-wide taking advantage of Salesforce.com’s CRM donation program: in the US alone there are over 450,000 non profits that are not yet aware of their eligibility for this generous donation. It is our goal to continue to propagate this program world-wide.

A Salesforce.com North America and Asia Pacific partner, crmOrbit, Inc. currently focuses on three main business activities:

  • Non profit Salesforce consulting
  • Energy conservation Force.com product development and consulting
  • World-wide Salesforce consulting through our development and sales center based out of Chennai India
Our India center supports our US-based project managers by facilitating application configuration, R&D, data migration, Apex coding and Visualforce development.

 
The founder of crmOrbit has decided to focus entirely on continuing to develop our energy conservation practice and is searching for the right person to step in and take the leadership of npoOrbit on a substantial owner equity basis. The founder will step back and hand all operations to the selected candidate including general management, business development and recruitment.

The candidate should possess an innate entrepreneurial spirit, have strong business-to-business sales background with relevant knowledge of CRM solutions (Salesforce.com desired). Background in the non profit world would be ideal. The candidate should be willing to work on a straight commission basis from sales generated independently coupled with a robust accelerator for hitting personal as well as company revenue targets. Correspondingly, outright equity ownership in the company will increase parallel to hitting mutually agreed upon annual revenue goals.

The chosen candidate will be trained and the transition to taking full leadership of npoOrbit shall be methodical and thorough.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Managing Director and Partner
  • Develop and manage company relationships with the non profit community
  • Develop partnerships and channels
  • Prospect for new relationships
  • Present the value of Salesforce.com CRM donation package and npoOrbit’s implementation services
  • Manage non profit consulting services sales cycle from prospect to close
  • Manage a team of sales people
  • Manage a team of project managers
  •  Interface closely with our India office manager
  • Assist in continuing to develop our core NPO group at our India center  
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least ten years management experience with direct reports
  • At least six to seven years in running a sales organization
  • Several years of CRM solutions or high-tech professional services sales and account management experience
  • At least three years of Salesforce.com technologies experience
  • Experience in the non profit sector is a significant advantage
  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Polite, courteous and patient

The Non Profit Account Executive (AE) role could be the right fit for you at npoOrbit. We are currently recruiting high-energy, driven Account Executives with relevant knowledge of CRM solutions (Salesforce.com desired). Ideal candidates should also possess business-to-business sales experience and background in the non profit sector is an advantage but not a requirement. npoOrbit will empower the AE to promote and propagate Salesforce.com’s CRM license donation program in the non profit community and offer our second-to-none Salesforce.com non profit consulting services.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Several years of CRM solutions or professional service sales and account management experience
  • Salesforce.com experience a strong advantage
  • Experience in the non profit sector is a significant advantage
Desired, Minimum Skills:
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent prospecting and networking skills

Candidates for our Project Managers openings should have experience in designing, articulating and deploying business applications. Excellent communication and customer management skills are required whether you posses CRM experience or not. Experience in some capacity in the non profit sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze non profit customer business requirements, articulate and design business processes and project timelines
  • Document in a flow chart in Excel: fields, objects, objects relationships and use case
  • In most cases work with npoOrbit software developers group
  • In some cases work on a project, end-to-end, independently
  • Deliver projects on time
  • Responsible for quality assurance – responsible for delivering to the customer a bug-free solution with all expected data in tables
Desired Skills:
  • Several years CRM experience – not necessarily Salesforce.com technology
  • Several years of project management in the tech sector
  • Business analysis experience
  • Data migration experience
  • Microsoft Access
  • Experience in the non profit sector is a significant advantage
Minimum Skills:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal skills
